savvyshoppernyc @bailyannp I remember the yellow hat that I have posted being softer (because it has angora/mohair and this one doesn’t). But this may have a band of cotton knit inside where it touches skin, to avoid the issue you raise. Let me double check this evening when I am home and will let you know!

savvyshoppernyc @bailyannp Hi. Just checked the hat. I think there is a stripe of cotton knit inside as there is a very slight color difference and it also feels a bit softer than the outside of the hat (although it is quite soft for a chunky wool knit, not scratchy). Hope that helps!
