julesintx Hi there!! I saw your sweet picture on an item of mine that you liked. I recognized the tubing. We had a 24 weeker that spent 110 days in the NICU. Hope all is well for you!

amandabcripe @julesintx thank you for asking! I had my son at 28 weeks. I had preeclampsia so he had to be taken early. We were in the NICU for 101 days (probably shorter than your 24 weeker!), And we just got to come home. Aidan's still on oxygen, but it's precautionary because of the bad flu season. ❤️

julesintx @amandabcripe We went home with oxygen too! For several months, but got to be less and less as time went on. Our sweet daughter is now 4, very little but fiesty and healthy!! I pray all goes well for you! Enjoy this sweet time!! 😊♥️

amandabcripe @julesintx That's so wonderful to hear! I'm glad she's doing well. I think Aidan will be tiny, too. He was small even for 28 weeks. In the hospital he was sitting in the 3rd percentile. I'm not sure what he is right now. Hearing about your daughter makes me feel better, though. 🤗

julesintx @amandabcripe That’s how I was, I was always interested in others stories! My daughter is still not even on the regular growth charts. 😬 But we have been to specialists and they say all is good!! She had to drink PediaSure for a long time to try to help with growth. She’s not a big eater, never was! But other than being small, she’s healthy!!! It’s not an easy road to bear, but it’s so worth the struggles for these little ones. I will be keeping you and your son in my prayers! 😊

edh2015 Your pic with your little miracle reminds me of an almost identical one I took with our 4lb 33-week gestation son in 2015. He turned 3 yesterday and is doing amazing! We celebrate that he's in the 1-2 percentile because it means he's on the chart!! He keeps me so busy--if he's awake, he's on the move. Enjoy this time, it goes SO quickly.
