terrimac70 I don’t typically do that I’m sorry Poshmark charges so much for shipping but they take their cut from my earnings and I get pennies. It’s not ok to lowball either these pants aren’t cheap. If I can’t afford it I don’t shop it’s not fair to me. I’m trying to replace my wardrobe. I’m sick and I’m need of clothes to. Just saying I took a loss to help you.

miaowza It is totally fair and correct to ask in depth questions about the item. That is expected and welcomed. However, I was able to flag your comment with unflattering assessments of my item and have it removed from my listing. Otherwise I would have had to relist my item. I say this only as a posh mentor. (and it may be the thing that gets me to keep the bag after all.)

miaowza Can you see how that might be frustrating and embarrassing to a seller to have an incorrect and unflattering assessment of her item permanently attached to her listing? Some sellers would block a buyer for that. It's a bit uncomfortable, but I'd rather use it as a teaching moment. It would have been totally okay to ask "can you tell me if there is any cracking to the leather?"

miaowza I hope you'll come back to my closet some other time for some other item that works for you. I try to think of visiting others closets as visiting someone's home. If it's not a compliment or question, it's better left unsaid, even if you believe your assessment to be true, better left unsaid. All that you write on Posh is permanent.

miaowza As long as I'm going here, also it is against posh etiquette to discuss lowest price in the listing. That is what the offer function is for. It's a more private way to bargain which doesn't leave the seller in an exposed spot if the deal falls flat. One's lowest may change from day to day. Also, I try to either make offers of at least half the asking price OR look for bundle offers or sales going on within a closet or make a bundle even for just one item or I skip the item.

miaowza Or just like the item so that I'm notified when/if the price drops. Sellers will often give generous discounts just for asking. Anyway- I fully know that you may block me for this , but I truly do write this because I can see from your love notes section that you are enjoying Poshmark and are finding great items! You seem like a great customer with your heart in the right place. These are simply tips to help you continue to have great Posh experiences.

It used to be a real drama inducer, but the "offer" feature was added to avoid awkward situations and constant re-lists and we used to have to creatively make bundles by making an entirely new listing with all the items that the buyer requested in one listing (with only four pictures!) before the bundle function was added! We've come a long way! )
