I missed out on the red trim one, but I'd love the navy. Mama said "if you love it and it's perfect, get it, or it won't be there later"! It's an investment in my wardrobe, a timeless gorgeous dress. I'm LOVING this Downton-ish one so much- so flattering and well made!

missbora @thornpele This is the best of all of them and you will feel regal in it. Let me know when and I will turn off the vaca so you can purchase. The gourds skirt is like no other! I would keep it but I just won't get the use out of it to warrant the closet space. I'm going down from two closets and a wardrobe to sharing a closet with my husband who loves nice clothes as much as I do 😱❤️❤️❤️

missbora I had 2 discs fused in my neck 11 days ago which I’ve had issues with over the past year (years of lifting my own weight in buckets of flowers and overly large floral arrangements ) so I’ve neglected my closet activity which is probably why my sales have all but stopped. I do treasure both of the Droopy & Brown dresses, and yes they flatter me so! They just don’t make clothes like that much these days! Impeccable tailoring, feminine enough to hint at everything but ladylike enough to reveal nothing. 💃🏻❤️ I also adore the Charles David dress, once I took it in at the shoulders (as you suggested :). Such a fun and pretty dress.

missbora @thornpele You have made my day! I am so glad you altered the dress at the shoulders, I knew you could do it. Our daughter Nicole, danced on a professional level with Pacific Northwest ballet as well as summer school at New York City ballet, San Francisco ballet and Utah ballet. When she danced at PNB they had an average of 45 performances of the nutcracker each year so I do know it by heart.

Your necklace sounds lovely and that’s what actually prompted the whole conversation as my friend had a pearl necklace on similar to the one he bought me to go with that dress years ago. It is so wonderful that you love these as much as I have and are getting to enjoy them and give them just a little more history.
