cvz15 @plasticfaery : Heather, we were married on 8/21 last year. I actually met my husband Dave when I moved to NJ in 1979...he was one of my very first friends! After HS, we saw each other a handful of times over the years, but he was in the Marines and I was married with kids, then divorced. By sheer coincidence, we were reunited in 2007. It was honestly love at first sight. Since you like weddings, you'll appreciate this...back in HS, we were in the same Chemistry class. I have kept in touch with the woman who was our Chem teacher all these years. Well, it turns out she became a minister after retiring from teaching. So, guess what? Our former Chem teacher was the officiant at our wedding! Now, how romantic is that?!? 💃😘❤

cvz15 @michyc87 : Thanks, Michelle! Nicky is 13 (he's our big boy tipping the scales at 25 lbs.!), Theo is 12 (he only weighs 18 lbs.), and Anna is 10 (she's our peanut only weighing 13 lbs). All three cats have the same father and different mothers...I got them all from the same breeder. I just love their fluffy fur and their sweet, loving personality. My son is autistic and the cats can totally help calm him down and keeps him relaxed. Don't they just make the best pillows?? 😻😽

michyc87 Lucky you! I bought my cats thinking one was a boy and the breeder gave me 2 girls instead lol. It all worked out tho bc they're little cousins. I really wanted a huge cat, 25lbs! My cats weigh about 13/15lbs. One just looks huge bc of her fur coat! My cats don't like kids too much bc they are noisy and they are used to our apartment being so quiet lol. They're lovable but don't like noise. Ahhhhhh cats!

Let's hope through awareness, education, and fundraising that organizations like "Autism Speaks" can find the underlying cause of autism and can help those who's family has been affected. mamamissy Thanks for sharing this with me! You have a beautiful family! I have the same hope happens through Autism Speaks or any other organization working for the same cause. I used to work for an elementary school and have worked with some amazing kiddos affected by autism. I'm studying to be a teacher, which has required some special needs classes where I've done major projects on teaching children who fall under the spectrum, and have a little loved one (son of a very close friend) who is also affected by autism as well. The importance of creating awareness, as you can see, lies very close to my heart as well. 💙💙💙

I actually have a Lynx Point Siamese that looks just like yours. Do you have any health problems yet? Ours have just started with him. I love that the hairless baby is wearing glasses. cvz15 @mandymerico : Kojak, our 10-year-old Sphynx kitty is very healthy but he did have to have abdominal surgery 3 years ago...he ingested two of those plastic toy mice that are coated in catnip. They had been in there since he was a kitten. We've actually had more issues with our pure-bred Ragdolls, who all have the same Dad but different Moms. All three have had chronic severe gum disease & tooth loss of all things! Our biggest kitty, Nicky (tipping the scales at 25 lbs.!!!) only has 7 teeth left but it sure hasn't hindered his ability to eat!! 😊❤

mandymerico @cvz15 Oh my goodness!!! 2 cat toys in the belly! I can say I've never had that problem here. Our kitty Lynx looks like your Theo. He's a lynx point Siamese. We are starting to deal with the blue eye drama. His sight is starting to get wonky and his depth perception is almost non-existent. They say his hearing will get worse over the years. He's only 6! I guess those are the curses of being beautiful! I have a big fat black cat who would eat with no teeth if he had to!

We actually adopted our Kojak from Boston, after his original owner died unexpectedly. I do know there are Sphynx breeders in NJ but I don't know which ones are reputable. cmb1972 @cvz15, Carol in the last 15 years my husband and I have own 7 sphinx, Craig my Hubby is deathly allergic to animas that shed, he has asthma and terrible allergies! But wonderful of him to do the research of hypoallergenic cats! Then we purchase the first one 3 months later a sister for her! At one time had 5, now down to 2, 2 Maltese dogs all girls! The cats think that they are dogs! If you go to my page you can see Bella she loves to go walking with the dogs in a Body harness, its hilarious to see her walking around in the leach with her doggies! Check out, in my page you will see her under my daughter Sophia! She is 2 years old,( Bella) and Lily just turn 1. We need to meet once I move out to Nj. Thank u!

I think the only thing she could have been referring to was the gift that I'd made for you and had sent to you? I had showed her a pic of it b4 I sent it to you to see what she thought of it and wether or not she thought you'd like it. And later had mentioned to her that my feelings had been slightly hurt that so far you hadn't acknowledged that I'd even sent anything? I had shipped several other items that same day as I'd shipped your gift to you and those had all already been delivered and received.;( that is why i mentioned i felt a wee bit slighted:( I'm sorry if you felt like someone was being unfair to you, that was never my intention, nor anyone else's place to make a remark about. thejanismarie @cvz15. Yes, I love peacocks. I have a peacock tattoo on my back, so that started it. Now a bathroom decorated in peacock theme. I also met tinker_bell & scarlettstained who also love peacocks. I love that Tink actually raises them. I will buy some of the feathers soon. Nice meeting you too. I'm from Louisiana.

cvz15 @sarahjean13 : Hi, Sarah! You're so cute to ask about my Sphynx kitty, Kojak! He feels like a warm chamois cloth or suede! He has a tiny bit of peach-fuzz on his nose but otherwise is 100% hairless. He does have to be bathed weekly, though, because he doesn't have the fur to catch the dirt or block the oil residue that all cats excrete. Thank you so much!! 😊💖😻
