If you find dog hair on your clothes, and I try very hard for that not to happen, blame it on these three hot messes! I love great Danes. I recently lost my 11-year-old Dane, named Talullah Bighead. Yes, all of my dogs are named after old movie stars. Previously we had Cary Grant, Errol Flynn, and Valentino in the house. They are rescues. Spencer weighs about 190 pounds, and Harlow about 165. John Wayne is still growing but he is about 130 now and he has another year to go!

teraleigh64 @posh_no1 they're actually both great Danes. The blue does very much look like a Weimeriner, but she's about twice the size of one. She weighs about 160 pounds and a WeimerReiner would be about 70 pounds. They are both hot messes. Harlow is three and Spencer is four. We just lost my 11-year-old great Dane a week ago today. Her name was Tallulah, and she was my heart dog. We are all in mourning at present. They are helping me get through it

teraleigh64 @twobrokefriends aww! I love that. I love great Danes that talk a lot! Have you ever seen Dinky the great Dane that throws a fit when his dad is paying attention to his brother? Those are friends of mine. Awesome dogs! I honestly can't imagine having any other breed now.

funkypineapple @teraleigh64 ..I have never seen a reasonable one anywhere. I have 2 mannequins and I am trying to get a model now. I am sick of my mannequins! Hard to find a gal who might want to model but when they are in front of a camera they stiff up and you are stuck w/ icky photos...You closet is gorgeous!!

teraleigh64 @twobrokefriends I think my manikins cost me like $35? I also just bought a full manikin on eBay for $50! You have to just really search, and sometimes the auctions won't have a lot of people betting on them when you get them for nothing. Like models would be awesome, but I have the same issues you have. Thank you fir the compliment. I've had fun with Poshmark. Although in truth I spend way more money than I actually make!

My home and my fathers entire business was wiped out in the floods in NC, My dad can not re-build at 76 yrs old. So now I am a working girl. teraleigh64 @emilykate93 fortunately for me, great Danes do not shed much. They really just have one period of about two weeks a year where they blow their coat in early summer and then it's pretty low maintenance. In the past, I've had a Shar-Pei mix and order collie/Aussie that I could have knitted a new dog every month with all the for I vacuumed up!

teraleigh64 @emilykate93 I feel for you. Sure pay here is doubly worse because it has that Barb that makes it stick in the fabric and it's so hard to remove! My boy was actually a Shar-Pei/lab/great Dane mix! He really had to be seen to be believed, but he was the sweetest creature on earth!
