Medal for Humane Action Medal Ribbon, 1-3/8" x 3/8" Dimensions 1-3/8"L x 3/8"H Acquired from a Military Surplus Store that went out of business The Medal for Humane Action (MHA) is a decoration presented by the United States Armed forces to recognize personnel who serviced extended duty in the Berlin Airlift between June 26, 1948 - September 30, 1949. To be eligible, members must have performed at least 120 days of service within the boundaries of Berlin. No required period of service is required for a posthumous award made to a service member who lost their life while participating in the airlift.
