McCoy USA Cookie Jar Belly Stove

An adorable black cookie jar in the shape of a pot bellied stove. The top is the little chimney, the center has orange and red paint that is a fire burning. This is a piece of the well known and collectible Art Pottery made by the McCoy Pottery Company. In nice shabby chic condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. Wear to the paint and the lid, inner opening and on the base. See photos for detail. The bottom is stamped McCoy. The McCoy pottery company produced a number of unique cookie jars such as this. This stove shaped jar is circa 1960s. Measures 7" in diameter at base and at the top inner opening. It is 9 3/4" tall.
