Mayan Hand Woven Cotton Poncho One Size Mexican Boho

Stunning one of a kind shawl, hand made by Mayan textile artisans in Chiapas, Mexico. This piece is woven by traditional back-strap loom method, where every color is individually woven into the garment and is hand embroidered with geometric designs on front and back. This piece has some slight discoloration on the turquoise stripe, shown in the 4th slide. Priced accordingly. 100% cotton- perfect for all seasons. Easy to fold or roll and throw in a bag as an extra layer. One size fits most, but the measurements are provided in last slide. It can be worn with the rhombus embroidery at the chest as a cropped poncho OR turned 90 degrees and the embroidery is over the shoulders and it's a long shawl (see photos). Sleeve length is estimated from how it hangs on a hanger without including the tassels at the end, see photos. These are all hand picked by me during my travels in Mexico, I buy directly from artisans. Each piece includes a tag with care information.
