So, layers in the front where it has the v-neck w an addl layer of the lower hanging butterfly w added lacing to tie tho is more a design element rather than a necessary function of the shirt. Since this is a size small, it's a little smaller than I would normally wear, but, does this brand run a little more snug that tag sizes? Gorgeous piece, colors, mixed media with the velvet and sequins... If it were a M, I'd have snagged it already. But it's making me wonder. Will need a little more time
