Has been used and still in great conditions. Does have a few interior dings. Charming and elegant little wooden jewelry box by Mele, one of the Masterwork Series, featuring an artwork panel with "Madame Recamier" by Francois Gerard on the lid. Vintage box is made in the Florentine style of lightweight wood. Box has a gold velveteen interior with 5 compartments for jewelry, trinkets, etc. Despite the flaws, the box is still a great little decor item for safekeeping treasures. Measures 7 5/8" long x 6 3/8" wide x 1 3/4"
