@heatherhilfiker hey sorry just saw your ? don't know why but like my notifications were off 🫤 So I can't say for sure obviously as I'm not a medical professional or a representative of Mary Kay, but I'm actually an Esthetician so I can say just from my knowledge and personal experience with glycolic acid that it can definitely help to fade dark spots from acne over time with continued use.

@heatherhilfiker I've not personally used this product but from the ingredients and description it sounds like that's exactly what this could help with since it's a resurfacing peel. It may help over time to remove the dead skin and promote cell turnover to help fade any surface spots and continue to help skin look brighter. Without knowing visually your personal skin spots, I can't say for sure but, I use glycolic acid products personally to help treat and prevent my own acne when I break out.

@heatherhilfiker I know it works much better on it then when I don't use it and helps it heal spots more quickly when I am using and I have many clients say the same thing with that ingredient! This is also a skin peel which in general are made to help with resurfacing the skin and bringing out the healthy skin underneath.

@heatherhilfiker yep! microdermabrasion is known to help with evening out your skin tone and promoting new cell growth so you will have new skin turnover. It usually helps with dark spots and brightens your skin tone. Another thing your could look into is hydrafacials and dermaplaning if you're looking for actual treatments. ☺️

@heatherhilfiker maybe start with that because it'll give your skin a good resurfacing and then you could always try something else if it doesn't help but with anything you're going to have to do it more than once on a semi regular basis to see decent results or use some decent products like this one, I assume which is going to help with the resurfacing and the brightening. Unfortunately, brightening and evening out of skin tone does not happen in one visit lol
