Marvel Avengers Comicbook February 1986

Avengers #264, published in February 1986 by Marvel Comics. It features the Avengers, with the bold text "AND NOW THE ALL-NEW YELLOW JACKET!" highlighting the introduction of a new character. This issue marks the first appearance of Rita DeMara as the second Yellowjacket. Rita DeMara was a criminal who stole the Yellowjacket suit from Hank Pym after his mental breakdown. She later became an Avengers honorary member and even joined the Guardians of the Galaxy in the 30th century. However, she ultimately returned to her old ways and joined the Masters of Evil. The issue was written by Roger Stern and illustrated by John Buscema, Tom Palmer, and Christie Scheele, with cover art by John Buscema. There is a small amount of wear on the top right corner but otherwise this comic book is in excellent condition.
