Marks and Spencer M&S Double-Decker Bus Scottish Shortbread Tin (Target Collab)

This sizable tin can hold a lot of things and is perfect for someone who loves UK food and culture. It's from the English brand Marks & Spencer. Target stocked it for Christmas 2024. The tin depicts a double-decker bus full of passengers. On the long sides it says, "M&S Scottish Shortbread" and on the short sides it says, "10 Brew Lane." The top is a red/blue/white plaid. Inside, the tin is a brass color. (The tin originally held shortbread cookies, but is now empty.) This tin is larger than most food tins. It measures approximately 10 inches long and 6 inches high with the lid on. It's approximately 4 inches wide. This tin is in excellent condition. There are no dents in the metal. The top fits on the main part of the tin easily and securely. It has been washed and has no smells. Please note that there is leftover residue from the tape that was (originally) used to secure the top to the bottom. That residue is not sticky, but is visible as sort of a white film (see photos). It would probably come off with Goo Gone. There is a portion of a gold "Best Before" sticker on the top, as well. That can probably be scraped off. Target only offered this tin for a short time around Christmas, so this is a great opportunity to get a rare item that is authentically British! Use it in your kitchen, to store small odds and ends, to give as a present (with homemade cookies in it), or just display it.
