Mario Buccellati Opal & Diamond Ring Master Italian Craftsmanship OOAK Stunning!

Handmade Mario Buccellati Opal and Diamond Ring, Italian craftsmanship and absolutely luscious! There is not another one like it on the planet. The opal is much larger than it seems. It was originally perched atop the prongs, but once fell out, so the jeweler set it inside the setting for safety. My father bought this ring for my mother for their 25th wedding anniversary in 1966 at the Mario Buccellati boutique in Manhattan. It was that or a Mercedes, which cost the same at the time! You can see the exquisite workmanship of the master craftsmen who created this piece. There will never be another like this! You can see where one side was repaired at the Mario Buccellati workshop.
