Marine Layer Archive Cord Short These cord shorts are about as '70s as it gets: slim fit, above-the-knee, and patch pockets for holding stuff. They've got a few new twists this year— we now gave them a little stretch and garment-dyed them for a vintage look. Made with 16-wale corduroy with a hint of stretch. Corduroy pro tip: the higher the wale, the thinner the ridges of the cord. So in this case, 16 is pretty high, which means you can barely tell they're corduroy but have a nice texture and weight to them. In great preowned condition with no visible flaws. They are a grayish blue color.
