This stunning necklace is the result of my research and hunting for HOURS. This 1940s-1950s vintage choker is a predecessor to one of the most famous necklaces that Marilyn Monroe owned. Hers, however, was a Weiss. This necklace is a Fenichel (which pre-dates Weiss). It is in STUNNING condition with clear stones that capture the light beautifully. All settings are tight, and the quality of this choker is undeniable. It also has the Fenichel mark stamped on the back of the clasp, which is a sideways hook-type closure. (The F has worn down, presumably due to use). The necklace measures 15 3/4” at its longest, and is adjustable.
