@msrachelle hi-sorry for the delay. An 11” laptop can fit in it. I tested my 5 subject notebook thats 8.5x11 and it fits well. It will look more like a tote at that point vs a slouchy bag if that doesn’t bother you. But it fits comfortably and you still have plenty of room for a lot of additional things you usually carry in a purse
