Map of the World Pegasus Luggage Carry On

Rare find! This large sturdy vinyl tote-style carry on by Pegasus Luggage has tons of room. It’s a knock off of the Alviero Martini Bags. The bag measures 16-1/2” wide x 9” deep x 13” high and will fit under the seat of an airplane on its side or will sit upright in the overhead compartment. The handles are 24” long, extend 10” above the bag and can go over your shoulder if it is not overloaded. The bag did not come with a shoulder strap but any utilitarian strap will work hooked on the front handle hardware. The bag folds up flat like a paper bag for easy storage at home. The interior is lined in heavy polyester lining and has 3 large interior pockets: one large center zip pocket and 2 large spaces on either side. One side also has a zip pocket in the wall of the bag as well as 2 cell phone, passport or utensil pockets. The interior is clean with no marks. There is a magnetized closure that goes over the top of the bag opening that works well if it is not overloaded. The exterior is heavy map-print vinyl with vinyl trim, handles and piping and can be cleaned with soap and water or any spray cleaner. It has 5 gold-tone feet on the bottom to keep the bag and the Pegasus gold-tone logo is on the front of the bag. Bag is used but in good condition. There is a small cut in the base next to the piping. Pegasus began as a California luggage firm that was a leader in soft-sided luggage design in the early 70’s when it was an emerging category. They are no longer in business.
