brittneymckee @nrhodes1987 hi! It is knit - it's a looser weave though so it's not quite so heavy. Works well on a cooler summer day or summer evening. I originally bought the 4 which is my normal size and it was more form fitting. I exchanged for a 6 which hangs a bit more and looks more high-end. Hope that helps!
