funfashions59 what type of universal remote should I buy for the player? Also, does it have an hdmi outlet ?

southtownryders @funfashions59 Hey, sorry I didn't see this earlier. After doing some research there are several options as far as the remote goes. You can find some OEM remotes on various marketplaces. They also have new remotes built with the same functionality and coding as the original remote. Either option would work, in my opinion.

southtownryders Most universal remotes SHOULD work on it as well as a Dish or Direct TV remote. That's all according to the internet. The VCR model # is MWD2205 and the remote that went with it was a Magnavox NB179 or a NB179UD. You should be able to search by the model number on the various marketplaces, Poshmark included, and locate a remote that'll work.

southtownryders As far as HDMI goes, it doesn't have a connection for HDMI. However, you can get a converter from your local GameStop (Call them before you make a trip) or order it off their website.

southtownryders Another option is if you have another DVD or Blu-ray player that does have the HDMI connections and In/Out Audio Video connections you can use that as a converter. I can get you the name of the GameStop converter. You can find them at Walmart, best buy, target, etc as well but when I needed one GameStop was much cheaper than the rest.
