This is a Maggie Sottero diamond white gown in the Melanie style (j1267 discontinued). It's in a size 2 and no alterations were made except that the train was removed. It can be a great prom dress too. It's been worn once for a few hours and then placed in a storage bag for many years. She deserves to be worn again and enjoyed.

kevla13 Would you please send measurements of the gown lying flat? Bust: arm pit to arm pit, waist width and hip to hip measurements please. I can double the numbers you provide for a realistic measurement and something I could discuss w/ my alterations person. Hoping to hear back from you soon! warupmadre @kevla13 hi ! Looks like the armpit to armpit is about 16, waist 12, hips 17? And maggie sotteros size chart says bust: 32.5 waist: 24.5 and hips:35 . Id go with the size chart. And yes, definitely a little flexibility with the corset

kevla13 @warupmadre Thanks for your speedy response! While I love your ‘Melanie’ gown, I’m concerned with the size 2, as I’m a 4/6 in street clothes! I wonder what my alterations person will tell me⁉️ I’ve already sent her pictures & wonder how much she can let out the seams, *if need be⁉️ If you still have gown on Saturday & my seamstress gives me the ‘go’, I’ll make an offer to purchase your gown.
