elana1204 @_drdre hi! Soo sorry for my late response, I was traveling! To answer your question I added a picture. The roughness is on the inside of the straps where they would meet each other. Whether it lies on your body kinda depends on how you wear the purse since it’s so adjustable and the straps can be flipped around. The roughness is pretty minimal though Again apologies for my late response, feel free to ask more questions or send an offer :)
