Never altered, just a few teeny tiny pin holes to pin the sides of bust and hips to hug my body at the time of fitting, see 3rd to last photo. Those won’t matter at all once the dress is altered. My measurements are: 37” bust, 30” waist, 40” hips. The dress is very big on me so there’s plenty of room for alterations to fit your body! The only reason why I’m selling this is because I went for a different neckline (strapless) but the dress I’m wearing for my wedding is very similar to this style.
