Made in England Coffee Mug

Made in England Coffee Mug, this was my mother in law’s. I searched high and low on the internet but could not find one like this 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s in very good condition except for a small mark on the handle, please see pic. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturers defect (it looks that way to me but I’m not positive) and the inside is clean with no signs of use.
