This gorgeous dress from Mac Duggal’s upscale Black White Red line was customized for my daughter. The dress was hemmed and appliqués from the removed section were added to the top “V” for more security during her performance. Dress was worn for three pageant talent performances. There was a backstage zipper snafu (pictured) but the tugs aren’t visible from the audience. True size 2 with no stretch. Girl in pic is six feet tall. Train is stitched onto dress. I will include extra appliqués and beading. Keywords: fun fashion, Miss America, Teen, Volunteer, NAM, cape, ooak

djlz Do you have a picture of the back? Does it zip up then tie or clip at the base of the neck?

pbosarah77 @djlz I just added two pics—it clasps at the back of the neck (also note the two thin straps on the back) and zips up to the low back.

bsteele10 can the lace at the very neck be removed and the neckline opened back up?

pbosarah77 @bsteele10 I don’t think you can remove anything at the back of the neck as that is where the dress clasps. We didn’t modify that part of the dress. Technically you could open the neck up again but it wasn’t sewn with the idea of the work being undone so I wouldn’t advise it.
