MURANO AUBERGINE Vintage Glass Vase / ROUGH TEXTURE / Threaded Neck / SMALL CHIP

This exquisite Murano purple glass vase has a rough, splotched texture giving it the look of an ancient Roman vase found on a shipwreck or buried for centuries in the ground. It is hand blown and features a glossy thread of glass wrapped around the neck like a snake coiled around a tree branch. The vase measures 3 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/8 inches wide and is in good condition for its age. There is a chip on the rim and a small blob of red glass that did not melt one side (see photos).
