MULTI-COLORED RHINESTONE TIE BAR - MbTDCLYr1

Designed by Anson, this brushed gold tone tie bar has two bars between which a gold tone sphere on each end leads inward to an amber rhinestone, with a clear and a blue rhinestone in the center. The tie bar is 2-1/4-inches wide x 3/8-inch high with a a pinch clip closure on the reverse side. The tie bar is pre-owned and in excellent condition, like new. Rhinestones are often times referred to as paste, strass, or diamanté and are man-made imitations of cut and polished gemstones. Centuries ago, quartz pebbles with a high lead content were found sparkling on the banks of Europe's Rhine River. These beautiful, natural stones were highly coveted and were eventually depleted, inspiring jewelers to create an imitation, aptly named the "rhinestone." The term "rhinestone" is now used to describe an imitation gemstone made from crystal, glass or even plastic acrylic.
