This comedy "MR BLANDINGS BUILDS HIS DREAM HOUSE" finds an advertising executive who had become frustrated with the small apartment where he and his family were living. The same morning he discovered his daughter had cut out a classified advertisement from the newspaper he hasn't read; it was for her school project. The assignment was to find a classified advertisement which described "the present disintegration of our society." She chose an advertisement for a farm which was being sold "at a sacrifice."
