-Distributed by Vee-Jay, marked 581, & features the color band label surround. There are obvious scratches/scuffs & wear on each label side. Rated G+= considerable wear, damage. I have no record player so this has not been tested. My artsy mind always goes to framing, etc...In 1963 a popular DJ in Chicago played “Please Please Me,” becoming the 1st person to play the Beatles on American radio.Record company’s name—“Vee Jay,” are the initials of co-founders Vivian Carter and Jimmy Bracken, a married Black couple who’d set up shop on Chicago’s South Side in the '50s.
