MOSS PREHNITE WIRE WRAPPED PENDANT

This is a beautiful dark green stone with the light green “Moss” appearance. Actually I am going to post a photo of the back it shows the “Moss” appearance also. This pendant can be worn with a ribbon, cord or a chain. Can be used as an ornament or add a pin and wear it as a brooch. The wire has been antiqued bearing in mind the era when jewelry was made by home makers in this same fashion. If you have any questions or picture requests please ask. Discovered in 1788 in Cradock, South Africa, Prehnite is named after Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn, the commander of the military forces of the Dutch colony of the Cape of Good Hope.
