Excellent vintage, antique gold plate, Early Medieval Revival, birds on nest dangle brooch. Detailed and dimensional, the workmanship on this Medieval reproduction brooch is superb. Measuring 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 1/2" deep this figural piece has a secure rollover clasp. The top pin section is created in a twisted rope design. Dangling beneath, by a twisted rope connector, is a 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" stylized nest made of layered arc designs. Atop are two birds/ducks with simple designs for wings and faces.
