MCM Sculpture Hand Carved Horn Heron Statue Base Vintage Beach Mid Century Crane

Mid Century Sculpture: Hand Carved Horn Heron Mother & Baby Statue mounted on a Solid Wood Base, circa 1960s. This tall beauty measures 11 1/4” H, and displays beautifully on its own or alongside other objets d’art. The Heron (Egret, Crane) stands tall, her elegant neck sloped down as she feeds her baby. It has a lustrous smooth texture with a gorgeous range of warm-toned colors in variegated hues from dark brown to amber to caramel. Artist unknown. Solid wood base measures just under 3” W by 1 7/8” deep and has some signs of wear typical of vintage wood. The statue is in excellent condition—free of breaks, chips or other damage. The only issue to note is the baby Heron is missing the inlaid eye on one side.
