A Bit of History:
The King's Crown-Cranberry Flashed glassware by Tiffin-Franciscan was made in the United States. Specifically, the Tiffin Glass company, which later became part of Franciscan, was located in Tiffin, Ohio. The cranberry flashing technique, which gives the glass its distinctive red tint, was applied using a combination of pressed and blown glass methods.
It is characterized by a clear glass body with a cranberry-colored flashed top and sometimes bottom, often featuring a thumbprint design. The pattern was produced from 1950 to 1965.
Hand washing is recomended to preserve the beauty of the Cranberry Transparent color.
