Lucy Ricardo's Ivy dishes were from the Franciscan " Ivy" range of dinnerware from California based Gladding, McBean & Co. The Franciscan dinnerware range came into production in 1948, so it was only a few years on the market when' I Love Lucy" series began in 1951. The Franciscan Ivy pattern is very striking and looks lovely on the dining table. The background is cream color and the Ivy leaf design circles the rim.; it has at least five different shades of green in it. There is a dark green border.
