There is a zip compartment inside and also a snapping keychain. The back of the bag has 2 zip compartments. There are 2 ties to secure the top of the bag. Not room enough to carry my essentials. You decide. Measures: 14" across the bottom, 13" across the center and 10 1/2" at the opening. 12" tall attaching at the strap, 8" tall at the center. 6" strap drop.
