MARC JACOBS 2005 Quilted Stam, Petrol Blue/Icy Leather AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED This is the one that started it all! Its a bag I never thought I'd sell, but the time has come. Its sat unused in my closet for far too long Time to pass it on to some other collector of vintage Marc Jacobs - let them become the keeper of the memories! For a bag thats 20 years old, this one's in remarkably good shape There's some minor color loss to the corners, but overall I don't see a lot of obvious wear Maybe a few minor nicks or spots of color loss along the frame, but nothing too major The lining is clean with some minor soiling along the top edge and around the inner zippered pocket A few things to keep in mind about these 1st edition stams -- the handles are thinner, longer and fit more comfortably over the shoulder. The frames are a little lopsided and the kisslocks don't have the notch to "lock" them closed, so sometimes when carrying the bag on the shoulder by the chain, the bag might "pop" open (I used to keep a tiny rubber-band hooked around the lock). The leather is much softer -- its nappa leather with an icy finish. They're a lot lighter weight (even with the suede lining). Trust me when I say, these 1st edition stams were something special!!
