Beautifully feminine and elegant pink lamé jacquard ballerinas with the iconic Maonolo Blahnik crystal embellished buckle. Manolo said of this model "The whole shoe was inspired by Napoleon I, Josephine and Pauline Bonaparte." The Hangisi flats are recognized the world over for their bejewelled brooch detailing. This pair is crafted with a sparkling lamé upper, a flattering low cut and pointed toe. Almond toe, calfskin sole and fully lined insole, 10 mm covered heel with rubber sole. This is an unusual pair, it's difficult to find a jacquard pair in this pink color, there aren't that many out there with this intensely sparkly pink lamé. I have lots of photos trying to capture the serious shine and sparkle these give off! These beauties are the real deal! Made in Italy. These are European a size 38 which normally translates to a U.S. 8, but. Manolos are said to run small, and I believe that's true for this pair, they seem to fit like a 7.5. All photos are of the actual pair being sold. This pair is in excellent condition, six crystals missing from the left shoe (see last pic for close-up), but really almost impossible to notice unless you're inches away: I live in Los Angeles so it's highly likely this was a pair worn on a red carpet or for a photo shoot ONCE ONLY, otherwise how could they be in such fantastic condition (look at the nearly pristine soles and insoles)!
