texascopywriter @djbetz Yes, supposedly. The seamstress left the mesh originally in the middle in place and just sewed the sides together. Ostensibly, you could just carefully pull out seam and bring it back. I'm just afraid the mesh is delicate and may tear. But you could definitely insert more.
