MAJESTIC 1940s' BLACK FELT HAT WITH BRAIDED FELT STRIPS/MINK TRIM & MINK HATPIN

This is a truly unique end special hat from the fabulous millinery fashions of the 1940s'! It consists of a round black felt crown that has a front extension in a pointy shape at the front, and is covered in tan mink. The back of the crown has a band of black felt braided strips that end in a fringe-like shape at one side. There is a hat pin attached. The round head of the hatpin is made of the same mink as the hat. Label: DEBUTANTE room, Marshall Field & Company plus a Consumer Protection label This is an authentic piece of fashion history!
