MAGESTIC Black Lucite & Gold Box Bag

This dramatic 1950's black lucite box bag is pure mid century at its best! The lucite panels are trimmed in a shiny gold tone metal frame. The side lucite panels are curved & the lid follows the wonderful curved pattern. The gold clasp has some slight discoloration, otherwise this bag is in fantastic condition. The Magestic insignia is visible on the frame & gold satin lining. Please note faint water mark in rear left corner. 8”W 51/4"H 33/4"D. Bag is 70 years old, & looks like new! Amazing!!
