I am a 36B and the dress fits nicely. I could wear without a bra, but would probably feel more comfortable with sticky boobs. If you have a larger chest you can definitely get away with no bra because the fabric is thick. Bought to wear to a bachelorette party and the color scheme changed so never got to wear it!
