I’d say it’s the same shade but the chambray has the tiniest hint of lavender/periwinkle color compared to blue cast which is more of a very light sky blue.

Side by side comparison is what I’ve been looking for 😍 Tbh, I still prefer Blue Cast. My bank account loves you and this post! ❤️

s2evie @ngocnguyen1994 That’s exactly why I think I won’t look good in Chambray. The lavender hue in Chambray may be the selling point to some but certainly not to me. Purple, green, yellow tend to me look like I’m sick. They just don’t compliment my skin tone 😭 Nevertheless, I’m still telling myself that I need to have at least one representative from each of those colors in my Align collection 😬😅 Do you happen to have a fav for purple and green Aligns that you’d recommend?

ngocnguyen1994 @s2evie omg yes! Have you ever seen green smoke aligns? It came out a while ago so it’s not available online anymore but it’s my fav green in aligns. You can look at sold posts on posh to see the color! As for purples, I love black cherry, moody blues, smoked mulberry, dusty mauve.. it’s not all exactly purple but they’re close!

s2evie @ngocnguyen1994 I have Green Smoke in Fast & Free. It is indeed a pretty shade of green. Not too overpowering for my taste. That color was only released for the 28” inseam Align and I’m a shorty so... 😅 I’ve had other colors, which were only available in full length, chopped off a few inches but I didn’t like how they were loose around my ankles. I prefer a taper silhouette.

s2evie @ngocnguyen1994 Omg I think we actually have very similar taste! 😳😍 I have Smoked Mulberry and have been thinking about getting Black Currant. Guess I’ll have to pull the trigger now 🤣 And I wish I learnt this from you earlier! My Moody Blues just literally arrived in the mail this morning. I was so surprised to see it it in person 🤯 For a second, I thought the seller mixed up my order or something since it was a bundle of 3 Aligns. It appears more like a blue in other people’s posts though 😵

ngocnguyen1994 @s2evie yes I’m a shorty too! I’m only 5 feet tall, haha. But I have them hem my 28” aligns only 2.5 inches from the bottom! And that’s the perfect fit for around my ankles - not too tight or loose. I think people tend to just have it hemmed to the 25” so 3 inches off the bottom of a 28” align. I did a couple like that and learned my lesson so now I only do 2.5 inches :)

ngocnguyen1994 @s2evie yes the moody blues is like a blue/periwinkle! It’s still one of my favs! I also recently got Brilliant Blue and it’s just a great color. I have both Black Cherry and Black Currant and I love them both! I highly recommend it! :)

s2evie @ngocnguyen1994 I couldn’t seem to decide which color to get between Black Currant and Black Cherry. Based on stocked photos, the first seems to be more muted which I prefer. But I’m worried it might be too muted in person. In that case, Black Cherry would be a better choice. There were a few instances where Lulu stocked photos “deceived” me and my wallet 🤭😂

lrbposh @ngocnguyen1994 I agree! I love both colors and the Chambray Blue is along the lines of a light periwinkle, while Blue Cast is a dusty, pale sky blue with greenish stitching seams! I'm currently looking for a pair of Blue Cast WU's in Tall 31" or 28" (if they were ever made in that length)! I'm tall and they're so hard to come by!

ngocnguyen1994 @lrbposh oh girl! I have the opposite problem (I’m 5 feet tall) so I always have to get 25 or 28! But I think it’s much harder to find the 31” so I feel your pain! :) also, I know for sure they made a Blue Cast WU in 31” Luxtreme material! I hope you’ll be able to find it - I’ll keep an eye out for you too! :)

ngocnguyen1994 @lizlee660 I also think it depends on what you pair them with you know? I love the blue cast with a cropped white tank like a white align tank! They match so well together and looks great in pics, outdoors, yoga, etc. :) I get tons of compliments when I wear it like that. Try it and you might like it! :)

ngocnguyen1994 @ghope7338 hi there! I checked the lululemon website and it seems a lot of stores still have it in store. Unfortunately they’re closed due to COVID-19. However, when they do reopen, you can buy it at a local store near you that has it in stock. Or you can always check the stock on the lululemon app, call up the stores that have it in stock, pay for it over the phone, and have them ship it to you free of charge! :)

ngocnguyen1994 @rpoll68 hmmm I don’t think neither really has a grey undertone. They’re just pale blues :) Chambray leans a bit periwinkle but Blue Cast is just a regular pale blue. Hope this helps! :)

ngocnguyen1994 @jbemont14 there is no green in blue cast - it’s just a very light baby blue! Chambray has the slightest bit of periwinkle tones in it. Blue cast is just lighter than chambray!

ngocnguyen1994 @haleyel btw if you want a quick answer Steam blue is essentially a grey with some light blue undertones. So if you’re looking for a grey that leans blue in some lightings, then steam blue is good. But if you want an actual blue color, chambray and BC might be a better choice!

ngocnguyen1994 @michellekoop I don’t think there were any aligns made in utility blue or any nulu fabric so I don’t have a comparison! But if they have a different name, they wouldn’t be the same color from my experience with lulu items.
