For sale. This Lucy is perfect! It still has the tag though it was untied & retied on. Have measurements in pics but couldn’t fit on this post. I created a separate post for the measurements. Pictures explain the fit better than words, but I am happy to answer any fit questions you may have. I’m quite petite (size 0/2) & short (5’0”) thus why gown may look a little big on me. Price is based on what I paid for my Lucy (size XS) which was not nearly in good condition/color as this one + the Poshmark cut which adds to the price quite a bit. Priced to fund the purchase of my Lucy which I am still paying off. No trades on this one. Thanks

oceanea @ns2798 I found the pic with the bust measurement. Let me see if I can add to this listing. You’ll see what I mean about the pics. The pit to pit measures 17” across...but that measurement does not account for the extra room the billowing fabric provides in the chest....because this dress can accommodate way more than a 34” chest. (In fact, I have a 34” chest and there is much more room to fill than that.)

oceanea @ns2798 I think so. There’s a lot of billowing in the fabric, both front and back. @pegahposh have you ever tried on a Lucy gown? If so, how did you find the fit in the chest?

pegahposh @oceanea This is such a gorgeous dress!! I can’t remember off the top of my head if mine was a small or medium but I’m a 34 ddd and it fit perfectly in the chest. 🤍

oceanea @pegahposh @ns2798 Thanks, Pegah! 💕 Yeah, I have both a small and this medium. I think the way it’s designed allows for quite a bit of flexibility in the chest, waist (elastic), and of course hips!

oceanea @ns2798 Ask as many questions as you want. I almost have that separate post up with extra pics and measurements. It has the measurements from the shoulder down to waist band to give you and idea of torso length. The torso length somewhat adjustable as you can situate the elastic waist where you want. More billow with waist sitting higher up, less billow if pull waist down. Of course, the more ones chest fills out the bust area, the less one can pull the waist band down.

oceanea @ns2798 Honestly, I didn’t find too much difference in sizing between the S and M. Key difference is the M is a little bit longer. M has a little more room for expansion in chest. But because of the billowy design and elastic waist, it’s quite flexible in fit.

ns2798 @oceanea Length is definitely a concern for me as I am 5’10. However, I do not like a lot of excess fabric in spite of the intended billowy intent of the design. I am a bit of a critic when it comes to fit.😏 I certainly appreciate all the time you have taken with me regarding the sizing issues. I have been looking for one of these for some time. Cannot quite get over the sticker shock.

oceanea @ns2798 I’ll find the length measurement for you. I’ve gotta run a work errand now but can get it later. Ya, the price of these only goes up as they become more rare in good condition. Got this in a trade but traded substantially for it. Posh fees add significantly to it, though.

oceanea @ns2798 And I don’t think the design is necessarily supposed to be super billowy. It’s that way on me because it is too big for my chest. I’d ask around to see pics of other gals in the dress to see how you like the fit/design on someone who has a shape similar to you, perhaps. Perhaps on Spell Sisters pages etc.
