Durable non-skid rubber soles on the front and back of the shoe keep you firmly on your feet. These shoes are made from 2 pieces of wood. We do our very best to make sure that the 2 pieces match as closely as possible, but due to the inherent differences in the natural wood there will be some variance in the coloration. HOW DO THEY FIT? ~This new style fits quite true to US sizing length and width. Due to the slight stiffness of the vegan materials, the toe straps do fit a bit tightly but will soften with wear. ~If your feet are very narrow in width, please size down. If your feet are narrow-to-medium in width, order your usual size. If your feet are medium-to-wide in width, please size up. ~The wood heel is beautifully hand-carved and sturdy, yet the wood itself is surprisingly light-weight. ~The footbed is cushioned with 3 layers of padding for extra comfort.
