Lucky Bamboo Cicada, Woven Bamboo Insect Pin

Beautiful, mahogany-tone cicada, handmade, woven from bamboo. No flaws. A vintage souvenir from Asia, I picked this beauty up from an antiques dealer a few years back. Photos really don’t do it justice, there’s a wonderful gleam to the bamboo when held under sunlight. Technically a brooch, I’d recommend displaying it as a small decoration rather than wearing it and risk splintering the wings!
