Lovers in the Park, Lladro #1274. Retired

"Lovers in the Park” Lladro #1274 Retired - Excellent Condition. Lov=ders in the Park was designed and sculpted by Antonio Ballester, and Lladro introduced it in 1974 to great acclaim. After 20 years of production, this piece was retired in 1993. Now, almost 50 years later, our prim and proper couple still looks fresh and new. Certain elements of the piece (eg, the man's flower, the lady's umbrella, certain leaves) are quite fragile and are known to break easily. The piece offered for sale here is almost perfect - looking closely from the back, you can see one small crack in one of the leaves (in the center back, under the bench - see closeup picture with arrow).  As with every item0 I sell, I will carefully wrap and pack it for shipping, taking extra care with the most fragile areas.
