1970's Rare Louis Vuitton The French Co. large weekender monogram bag in brown and caramel. Manufactured by The French Company USA under special license Made exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue • exterior large flap pocket • exterior large slit pocket • main compartment vinyl lining • interior large zip pocket • interior dual slit pockets • brass hardware • top zip closure Approximate measurements: 15in L × 12.5in H x 5in D x 8in handle drop. Has inoperable lock. Combination not known. Zipper pull is detached so you can still open and close the bag without a problem. Very cool detail which is extremely rare. Custom metal plaque on front that may be either replaced or sanded down, although owned by a very well known woman in history. Leather plaque has NOT been personalized so it’s all yours. Slight storage scent. Small nick on interior which has already been repaired. See last pic. Excellent vintage condition.
