xococolove Actually not all date code is followed by two letters. Especially if it is a vintage and made in France. A2 coordinates with France which is the same made in county on the stamp. If you are relying on a date code to help you authenticate then you'll have far more worries. Louis Vuitton didn't make production/ date codes to authenticate.True, it can help with the age and where it was made but it comes down to overall hardware and stitching as well. If you are still uneasy then look it up but please do not make false assumptions on my page. Thank you. @magpie247

xococolove Thank you @1hermitcrab, yes I definitely agree with you. Quality is not the same. I think it's called monaceau and I've seen it named as the briefcase bag as well. It's a timeless piece, one of my absolute favorite. I have it in black which I'm keeping. This bag has never been carried. It has just been apart of my closet collection over the years.
