This is an oldie but a GOODIE!!! This wonderful wallet was created in 2003 when Marc Jacobs was the Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. In collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, their idea was to liven up the Fashion House's brown Monogrammed canvas by shaking things up with color. The designs received tremendous public attention as well as commercial success. As we all know, this catapulted Marc Jacobs into the stratosphere to create his own brand. Conversely, Takashi Murakami's further designs were so successful the artist stayed on until 2015, the longest collaboration Louis Vuitton ever had. This wallet is in wonderful condition for being 22 years old! I regularly change purses and wallets, so they don't get much wear and tear. Even so, this wallet hasn't been used for YEARS! It sports shiny brass corners and snaps. There are no cracks whatsoever. The colors are all bright as you can see with barely any fade on the base where it rests. It has 4 credit card slots, a pocket behind the credit card slots, a snapped pouch for coins or keys and there is one more pocket behind that! The yellow stitching is perfect throughout with no breaks. The Vachetta Leather inside is nearly the color it was as new. It is in magnificent condition for a 22 year old wallet.
Measurements are: 7" x 4" x 1.25"
The Mini Multicolore Wallet will come to you in it's original dustcover
(credit cards, cash, coinage and pen are not included but for photographic purposes only)
